Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, or as locals call it, just “Vizcaya,” is the wedding venue for Miami’s breezy, enviable weather, wish-you-lived here “winter” season.

Our bride Mila’s birthday was the previous day, so we had plenty to celebrate. We kicked off the day at the SLS hotel in Brickell. Mila stunned everyone with a tailored wedding gown from Leah Da Glória Couture. She straight-up looked like she was born to wear this dress.

Thanks to excellent planning from Lourdes Milan and her team, we had ample time before guests arrived to explore the premises of Vizcaya with the couple and film some magical moments. The lighting was idle as the fading sun stretched its golden rays through the trees, striking all the right spots.

It was an elegant black-tie affair; guests were dressed to the nines, and the reception area with its golden accents, chandelier, candelabra, and floral ceiling resembled the dining room in a castle.

Our friends at Event Factor executed the lighting perfectly for the dance floor (as well as music and entertainment), while Petal Production designed the florals and Constellation Culinary Group prepapred a delicious meal for the guests.

Whenever a wedding takes place at Vizcaya, we know it will be one for the books.
