Tropical vibes at The Kampong in Coconut Grove
Natalie and Marc couldn’t have picked a better day to get married. Miami natives know this; March weather is whats it’s all about. The textured blue skies with beautifully shaped clouds, a gentle spring breeze, and blooming gardens. It’s Miami at its best.
The Kampong in Coconut Grove is a bit of a secret garden in the heart of the Grove with a waterfront view of Biscayne Bay. It’s a lovely wedding venue since it offers options for both outdoor and indoor receptions. The bonus is that the indoor dance hall is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows allowing a flow of air.
Some couples chose to have their ceremony underneath the rustic banyan tree. But Natalie and Marc stood their Chuppah on the waterfront. An excellent choice, I may add. Rabbi Marc Labowitz officiated for them. He was funny, brilliant with words, and charming.
The wedding planner, coordinator, and designer was Cynthia from Lasso the Moon. I’m always impressed with the attention to detail, the design, the florals, the mouthwatering presentation of the food; Cynthia and her team know how to set a scene.
It was indeed a 10 out of 10 wedding day: a great couple, a superb venue, good food, and great vibes from guests. Mazel tov, Natalie and Marc!
