The epic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens must be among Miami’s top most iconic and sought-after wedding venues.

The European-style villa is located on the shores of Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. With its lush and sophisticated gardens and the many hidden corners on the estate, it’s hard not to get excited before filming a wedding there.

Danyelle and Alan’s wedding celebration started on the previous day, the Nikki Beach on South Point. An all-white dress code brought friends from all over the country to enjoy the excellent weather and creamy sunset on Miami Beach.

The couple got ready the next day at The Edition, a posh beachfront hotel in Miami Beach. It was a spectacularly crispy bright day; a perfect day for a wedding.

Since the early morning, vendors have been working on Vizcaya, getting ready for the big bash. The Wedding Planner, Paula Jackson from Bsocial Events and Petal Productions and Elements and Accents, crafted an elegant, luxury paradise for the couple and their guests.

Danyelle looked stunning in an off-shoulder lace gown by Zuhair Murad from Ever After bridal shop in Coconut Grove. In contrast, Alan looked sharp, rocking a tailored velvet burgundy suit from Elevated Citizen.

There were violin players, performers on stilts welcoming guests, and one of the best wedding bands in the industry, Libido wedding band.

My team and I spent valuable time with the couple filming candid shots before the ceremony. I can’t stress this enough, but planning is everything. Make sure to allow ample time between the getting-ready ceremony and before the reception to allow the Cinematographer and Photographer to cover all those juicy moments between the couple before sundown. You’ll thank us later.
